Very valid point. For the first time in my 60+ years on earth, I volunteered for a candidate in an election. I volunteered for a Liberal candidate in a solid blue riding. I had no expectation that she would win, but I loved her drive to climb that hill knowing the odds against her. Her campaign’s energy was wonderful. She didn’t win, but she finished a very strong second. I’m satisfied. I didn’t even know who the NDP candidate was until I saw the ballot when I voted. There was no signs of any kind for the NDP candidate in my town either.
